&In Her Pale Pink Dress With Fringes On The Bottom...
she couldn't hold back the tears, she couldn't stand the hurt, so she did what was best. she cut away at her delicate skin & wrote words of hate in it. ugly, stupid, fat, hurt, broken, brain dead...
her dress now lies in a casket with her body. her eyes painted with a summer green and her face powdered with a light tint of blush. she tried, it says it on her bony shoulder blade tried too hard for perfection & her hands are neatly folded on her flat stomach.
family & friends come to see the grand tragedy and they can't help but cry at how a girl who was so beautiful, smart, loving, and devoted would want to take her own life.
& then, you came. you came and wept into that dress, the one she picked out for your eyes to be in awe of. the one she wanted you to notice her in. & now here you stand -hands around her unmoving waist- and you hum a tune to her, the humming turns into words that sing,
"beautiful girl, didn't need to die, beautiful girl, put a shine in my eye, delicate hands, to put around my waist, delicate hands, to brush on my face, pretty smile, to light up your features, pretty smile, i was your student--you my teacher, beautiful girl, why did you die?, beautiful girl, now i've tears in my eyes..."
she never knew how you felt & now it's too late to go back.
